provide a meaningful contribution towards the promotion, development and improvement of the standard and quality of lower, middle and higher engineering education in the field of energy;
provide sustainable support for the integration of higher engineering education with its energy related research activities;
assist in building the national capability in various aspects of the energy sector;
increase the capability of technical and managerial personnel involved in the energy sector and assist in its effective utilization and mobilization;
conduct relevant training programs in required topics and subjects relating to the energy sector;
assist Government of Nepal’s energy sector development program and contribute meaningfully to the attainment of the basic objectives of the Alternative Energy Promotion Center (AEPC);
establish relations with foreign Universities and other related institutions for achieving the objectives of the center;
provide consultancy services related to energy issues;
carry out applied research and development studies related to energy matters; and
further develop Energy Park at CES Complex at the Institute of Engineering Pulchowk, Lalitpur, Nepal
